History
On April 12, 1994, the first meeting was held by a group of people invited from the watershed area of the Terra Nova River system.
The original watershed area has now been extended to include the Gambo area as well. On May 9, 1995, at a well publicized Annual General Meeting, the Constitution for the Freshwater Bay - Alexander Bay Ecosystem Association was approved with some modifications - mainly to accomodate the Gambo area.
